1. You begin the game by first, making a bet. This is done by pressing the onscreen buttons. There are two buttons that initiate your bet: the "BET 1 CREDIT" or BET MAX CREDITS". 3. When your 5 cards are dealt the first thing that you will notice, other than what cards you have, is that the word "HOLD" appears under certain cards. This happens when the machine suggests which cards to hold. Now, don't worry, just because you are technically playing against the house doesn't mean the suggestion that the machine makes are trying to mislead you. In fact, usually the suggestions that the machine makes as to what cards to hold are perfectly good suggestions. It is recommend that new players study their hands and go with the cards that the machine suggests to hold. Press the "HOLD" button when you want to decide what cards to hold yourself.
4. After you choose what cards you're going to keep, press the "DEAL" button again. At this point the cards you didn't want will be discarded and will be replaced by new cards. That's it! Now you can see you final hand. If you have a winning hand the amount of money you have won will be displayed.
5. At this stage you can decide either to keep the money you have won or risk it against the chance of winning more by pressing the DOUBLE button. The cards will be removed from the screen and a further five cards will replace them. You must choose a card and if it has a rank greater than that of the dealer's card, you will win double your original payout.
6. To play again hit the deal button.
