Video Poker is a relatively modern invention, a marriage of sorts between the traditional Poker game and slot machines. Video poker is a contest between the player and the machine. The dealer (the machine) deals the player a hand of five cards. When cards are turned face up the player decides which cards to hold (keep) or discard. Then the player draws to replace any discarded cards. The objective is to finish the game with the strongest hand possible. The payout at the end of the game is dependent on the value of the hand the player is holding. If the player won the hand an opportunity to increase your winnings arises.
The name "Tens or Better" refers to the fact that the lowest (or least valuable) standard poker hand that will payout in this game is a hand containing at least a pair of Tens or more valuable cards. There are no wild cards in Tens or Better.
Tens or Better is played with a 52-card deck that is shuffled after every completed hand.
How to Play Tens or Better
Playing video poker requires only a basic understanding of the composition of various video poker hands. The game itself is simple.
Decide on the coin denomination that you wish to play with by clicking on the [+] and [-] COIN buttons.
Press DEAL to start the game
Your first hand of cards will appear in the play area. We suggest you compare the cards in your hand with the paytable on the screen. Any winning combinations in your hand are automatically held and highlighted for you.
You call a card by clicking on the cards or by clicking on the HOLD button below the card.
To unselect a card you can click on the the card or click on the HOLD button below. When a card is held it is marked.
Choose the cards that can potentially give you the highest payout.
When you are ready click the DRAW button to get your next hand of cards. The cards you have not held will be removed and replaced with fresh cards from the deck. If you win you can COLLECT your winnings or select the Double button.
To double your winnings click on a card and if the card you selected is of a greater value than the dealers then your winnings will DOUBLE.
Once you have collected your winnings you can begin another hand of Single-Hand Video Poker by pressing the DEAL button again.
You may also choose to REBET, which has the same affect as collecting the winnings and Dealing the cards.
Rules Of Tens or Better
1. Video Poker is based on the basic poker card game and share common features.
2. The video poker game is a contest between player and machine - the dealer.
3. The objective is to finish the game with the strongest hand possible.
4. The payout at the end of the game is based on the card combination you are holding and the size of your wager.
5. You are offered a further opportunity to increase your winnings by doubling on all Video Poker games.
6. In Single-Hand Video Poker, if the player wins, the winning amount of is displayed inside the hand.
7. Single-Hand Video Poker is played with two to four 52-card decks that are shuffled after each completed hand.

Tens or Better Buttons
Any video poker machine is easy to use.
The Increase [+] and Decrease [-] buttons, on either side of the COIN value, allows you to change the coin value you are wagering.
The BET ONE button allows you to increase the number of coins being bet at one time. When the maximum number of coins is reached, the count re-starts from one. You can also increase the number of coins you are wagering you click on the appropriate PAYOUT COLUMN. You will have to click on the DEAL button to start playing.
The BET MAX button allows you to bet the maximum number of coins allowed by the game, and starts the game.
The DEAL button starts the game. You must have enough credits to meet your current wagering level to start a new game.
The HOLD buttons allow you to keep the card in your hand. You can also unselect the card by clicking on the card or the HELD button. When the cards are held they are marked.
The DRAW button completes play by dealing new cards for any unheld cards, and paying out winning hands.
The REBET button allows you to play again for same the bet and number of hands.
The COLLECT button allows you to collect your winnings.
The DOUBLE button allows you to double your winnings.
